Meh story, slow and annoying gunplay, no customization or weapon variety, and a big map with basically nothing to do on it and no memorable characters.įC2 for me was just boring. About the only good thing I can say about FCND is that it followed up on FC5's cliff hanger and that you can now equip facial hair.įC1 is the game that started it all. It also downgraded the customization from previous FC games, you can't customize weapons or vehicles anymore, and there's alot less character customization than FC5. Story is pretty bad with no memorable characters except for the ones from FC5, same map as FC5 but alot smaller and less interesting things to see and do, villains are forgettable and sometimes a down right joke. Also, Ajay was just boring, he never really had an issue with killing people like Jason did, he just got used to it the second he got a hold of weapons.įCND is basically just FC5 but with less content and a smaller open world. The only issues for me is that Pagan is about the only memorable character and that you can't replay the Shambala missions. I also loved spending entire afternoons finding all the collectibles.

Plus it introduced alot of great mechanics to the franchise, including being able to shoot while driving. Okay story, good open world with a ton of interesting things to see and do. It would probably top FC3 if there were more customization options and more stuff to do in the world (Other than hunting & fishing).įar Cry 4 is a great game. It also introduced the Guns For Hire mechanic and is the first FC game to feature my favorite character Hurk in the base game. Good story, memorable characters, amazing soundtrack and the open world, while not as interesting as FC3 or 4's world, is good in it's own right. People love to hate on FC5 (For some reason I've yet to understand) but I absolutely love it. About the only flaw I can think of is that, Spoilers: Vaas is killed off way too early. I also loved Jason's slow descent from a rich, spoiled California brat to a psychopathic, insane murderer who takes pleasure in killing people. I'm gonna say (From best to worst)įar Cry 3 has it all, a good story, lovable villains, great open world with countless things to see and do and a huge amount of customization.
